Gay Kiss Planned for Gossip Girl’s Weswick

Every time Blair Waldorf and Chuck Bass make an attempt at happiness, something - or someone - always seems to get in the way. But this time around, the male hottie in question won’t have the cute brunette in mind.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Eric van der Woodsen may not be the only gay character on Gossip Girl this season. Rumor has it actor Ed Westwick will soon have a male-male encounter of his own.

The recipient of Bass’ liplock will be reportedly be Josh Ellis (Neal Bledsoe), a freshman affairs head at NYU. Apparently Chuck’s lip-lock may be part of a plan his girlfriend has devised to get a chance at delivering a freshman speech.

How will Waldorf convince her beau to play along? Find out when the episode airs on Week 6.

A few weeks ago, we saw a few tantalizing clips of what Gossip Girl‘s second season has in store for us. Now we’re actually getting a glimpse of the miserable state Chuck Bass will be in this fall. (Could he actually be feeling guilt for what he did to Blair?)

My favorite part of this scene? Bass’ snooty response to the word ‘Jitney.’

Is Gossip Girl’s New Ad Too Much?

This is one of two ads being used to promote Gossip Girl‘s return to the CW.  (The show will start airing new episodes starting April 21.) 

Don’t freak out.  This shot of Serena and Nate is from the drama’s pilot.  Another ad will focus on Blair and Chuck.
